Two Jurors & Brandt Jean Talk About the Trial of Amber Guyger

Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Two of the jurors from the Amber Guyger murder trial are talking about what went on from their perspective. in an exclusive interview with our media partner ABC News affiliate WFAA-TV. They did not give their names, but referred to themselves as jurors 21 and 34:

“I think were were all on the same page, as far as us thinking, yes she’s guilty, said one juror; the other said, “We walked through what murder was and it was the intent to kill somebody, and that was the first thing they gave us and we all said she was guilty probably within five minutes of being in there.”

Guyger was sentenced to 10 years on the murder conviction.

Meantime, Brandt Jean, the younger brother of the victim also made an appearance on ABC’s ‘Good Morning America.’

Brandt Jean has been the subject of both praise and criticism for offering a hug of forgiveness to Guyger.

To his critics the 18-year old told the network:

“I waited a year to hear I’m sorry and I’m grateful for that and that’s why I forgive her.”

He also said, “This is what you have to do to set yourself free. I didn’t plan on going through my life hating this woman.”
