Denton Police Searching For Man Forcing His Way Into Women’s Apartments, Attacking Them

DENTON  (WBAP/KLIF News) – Denton Police are asking the public to be on alert as they search for a man who forced his way into several women’s apartments and threatened them with assault.

The department hopes a sketch it released to the public will help lead to his arrest of the man officers said committed three burglaries with the intent to commit assault.

The first attack happened during the summer months and the two latest were more recent.

In each incident, the victims, aged 20 to 25, said the man burst in when they answered a knock at their door.

Police say the man is about 5’10” to 6″ tall, black, clean shaven with a lean muscular build and could be driving a white SUV.

Anyone with information is asked to call Denton County Crime Stoppers at (800) 3888-TIPS (8477) or submit a tip at dentoncountycrimstoppers.com.

The department is asking residents to remain vigilant when answering their doors.
