A Shooting in Southeast Dallas Leaves A Business Owner Dead, According to Police

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – A well known business owner in Southeast Dallas is dead, but his killer allegedly still on the run.

Dallas police say a woman came into ‘Kingz of Cutz’ Barber Shop on Grand Avenue (Al Lipscomb Way) this past Saturday before lunch, and shot the owner, 42 year old Fredrick Myers.

Here’s what one witness told WFAA-TV; “As soon as she pulled it out, she started shooting. There was like no time for him to run. No time for nothing. Everybody in the shop just kinda like was tumbling over each other trying to get away.”

Dallas Police are now looking for 36-year-old Alexis Bowman in connection with the shooting. A candlelight vigil was held Sunday night, in the parking lot outside that barber shop.
