
Collin County, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – The Collin County Sheriff’s Department may have unraveled a counterfeit money operation in the process of its investigation into an alleged assault at an assisted care facility in Lucas last month.
In a tweet, the department said that their investigation, over the past three weeks revealed that a former caregiver was falsely representing herself as a registered nurse … and that she had assaulted two elderly female patients.
When deputies arrested the suspect, identified as Glenda Basanes, they found 50-thousand dollars in counterfeit cash and a controlled substance in her possession.
