Texas (WBAP/KLIF) – Happy Independence Day from the State of Texas where thousands of people are enjoying holiday festivities across the state. In Round Top, Texas on Wednesdsay, a 166 year old celebration continued.
Started in 1851, the Round Top celebration is the oldest Fourth of July observance west of the Mississippi. Through all the years, the Round Top Rifle Association (Schützen Verein) has been at the helm, according to RoundTop.com.
