Fort Worth Man Now Faces Sexual Assault Charges in Child Abduction Case

Michael Webb (Tarrant County Jail)

Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – The man accused of kidnapping an eight-year-old from Fort Worth last month is now facing several sexual assault charges.

51-year-old Michael Webb was originally just facing a federal kidnapping charge, but Tarrant County court records show he’s now looking at six counts of sexual assault of a child.

Webb is accused of taking the girl right from her mother’s hands while they were walking in a Fort Worth neighborhood.

Police found Webb and the girl at a Forest Hill hotel hours later after church members spotted the car.

He has a long list of previous crimes in East Texas ranging from burglary to making terroristic threats.
