WFAA DALLAS – WBAP/KLIF – Dallas Police have named a 91 year old woman, initially believed to have died in her sleep, as another smothering victim of an alleged serial killer. 46 year old Billy Chemirmir is held on 9 million dollars bond, and Dallas Police believe he murdered Phyliss Payne in 2016.
Her body has been exhumed as investigation continues. Police say Chemirmir targeted women in nursing and retirement homes, and stole jewelry and other valuables from them. Chemirmir is suspected of killing at least 12 women in Dallas and Collin Counties.
