
FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF) – Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price wins a fifth, two-year term.
First elected in 2011, Price is known for her efforts to involved community in city improvements. Along with her focus on promoting jobs, strengthening education, fighting crime and efforts to boost community involvement by Fort Worth’s younger voters, Price is generally believed to have led the charge on her vision of a fiscally responsible city of Fort Worth. Citizens under the age of 40 formed a group called “Steer FW”; spearheading task forces lending advice to come of Fort Worth’s biggest challenges
Price says she looks forward to continuing with projects already begun, including continued delivery on items involved in the last bond issue, and expansion of TexRail in the future.
