Longtime Texas Broadcaster Roger Emrich, Dead At Age 62

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – Roger Emrich, the iconic announcer for the Dallas Cowboys, died Saturday at the age of 62. Emrich was a longtime voice at AT&T Stadium.

A tweet from the Dallas Cowboys offered condolences to the family, saying “the DFW sports world has lost a true legend…” and that his “booming voice” will be missed.

Emrich was also beloved by radio listeners for his time in radio sports in the Dallas area.  He was inducted into the Texas Radio Hall of Fame in 2015.
