DALLAS – FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF) – President Trump appeared on WBAP’s Westwood One Mark Levin’s Show Friday evening, renewing his threat to shut down the border with Mexico if numbers of would-be immigrants from south of the border do not slow in numbers. In an easy going conversation with Levin, President Trump re-asserted his claim the large numbers of migrants claiming asylum at the border is overwhelming America’s ability to hold them while the claims are investigated.
Also Friday, U S border authorities announce despite privacy concerns, they are now taking more biometric information, including fingerprints, from children aged 13 and younger at the border. Officials say they want to stop “child recycling”, which is said to be an effort to pair children with adults in fake familes, allowing them to be more quickly released into the United States.
