Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Dallas Police investigated a multi-vehicle accident overnight that included a car that was found almost completely underneath a semi.
Miraculously the driver and passenger escaped injury. The accident happened on I-30 eastbound at Winslow. WFAA-TV reports that traffic was moving slowly through the area as the result of an earlier crash that had just cleared, when a motorist came barreling through at a high rate of speed and rolled almost completely underneath a semi.
The driver and a passenger had to be cut from the wreckage but were not hurt. The driver reportedly told police that his brakes failed, but they doubt that account, saying that he was likely driving too fast.
Five other vehicles were involved. No one else was injured.
