
Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Dallas police were called out to reported stabbing incident around 1:30 this morning at a convenience store in South Dallas.
Mike Forbes from our media partner WFAA-TV told us that one man slashed his brother-in-law in the head with a machete, and almost severed an arm during a fight.
Police found the man his house nearby on Sutherland Street, where he had barricaded himself inside, holding a 2-year old girl hostage.
This all started after the man stabbed a relative at a 7-11 in Oak Cliff at llinois and Corinth Street.

According to Forbes:
“He starts breaking the windows in the room where he was with the little girl and every now an then you’d see him with a little piece of chard glass from the window he had broken up to the girl’s neck.”
The man was eventually taken into custody without incident.
The child was not hurt. It’s not known what relation the child is to the suspect.
