ARLINGTON (WBAP/KLIF)- Arlington’s Public Works Department said they were prepared to tackle severe weather Wednesday morning. The city of Arlington deployed two of its Emergency Response Trailers Wednesday just in time to clean debris from the storm. Richard Carmichael with Public Works said these trailers make it easy to get to locations quickly. “The weather is pretty volatile in North Texas
and it just helps us to know when there’s severe weather we have all of our tools in one location.. we can hook the trailers to a truck and be at the location 15-20 minutes or quicker,” Carmichael said.
The trailers come fully equipped with pole saws, chainsaws lighting, barricades, signage and more to help the City more quickly respond to reports of fallen limbs and trees, debis and flooded streets.
Carmichael said they cleared away just under 25 locations Wednesday morning.
