Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Big Tex asked and Texas answered!
After over 250 entries in the Big Tex Boot Design contest, the winner is Katie Sauceda of Keller. Katie created a design that pays homage to Lone Star State, complete with the Texas flag, the Alamo and a longhorn on the boots.
She now gets to team up with Lucchese’s to design the boots that Big Tex will be wearing during the 2019 State Fair of Texas.
Thousands of fair fans voted for their favorite design from the ten finalists announced two weeks ago.
