Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Details are emerging about a dallas police call Saturday evening of a 3-year old running around a South Dallas apartment complex, wearing a T-shirt and one shoe in the cold weather.
The boy’s father, 31-year old Robert Preston showed up, telling police that he had just made a quick run to the store. He was initially arrested on an active probation violation warrant.
Police say they found his 3 other children, ages 2, 5 and the 3-year old’s twin, sitting on a filthy floor in his unfurnished apartment that “reeked of feces.”
The arrest affidavit says that the kid’s “language pattern appeared off,” as they mainly communicated with gestures, body language and screams, and did not know their own names.
A malnourished puppy was found in a closet full of feces.
