(WBAP/KLIF) – Reward money is growing in the killing of a service dog in Hunt County.

Journey was shot and killed January 13. The person responsible hasn’t been found. An anonymous donation of $4,000 came in this week to boost reward money in the case to $10,000. The donation is the second large amount given  to Hunt County Crime Stoppers in less than a week.

“I’m so excited,” said Tina Westmoreland, the mother of Journey’s owner Hannah. “I’m just to thankful.”

Westmoreland said she’s confident the shooter will be found. Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact Hunt County Crime Stoppers at 903-457-2929.
