FORT WORTH- WBAP/KLIF – It’s only the second time in history the Stock Show has canceled it’s opening ceremony parade, and this time, strong winds in line with a wind advisory issued by the National Weather Service through 6pm Saturday is the cause. Back in 2007, it was an ice storm blanketing North Texas.
Stock Show officials say they are concerned about safety of parade viewers. If you’ve purchased reserved seating for the parade,you can exchange your tickets for a season grounds pass for the full 23 days of the Stock Show, or ask for a refund for the dollar value of parade tickets at the main ticket offices on West Lancaster Avenue.
