Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Two dogs who escaped from a back yard after being scared by a thunderstorm were found shot to death and mutilated in Denton County.
The Denton County Sheriff’s Department says the two dogs were found dead near Indian Tails Drive and Sam Reynolds Road in Justin.
The sheriff’s department is investigating it as an animal cruelty case.
A witness saw a pickup truck with three men inside in the area where the dogs were found around 1:30 in the morning December 16th.
