Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – Fort worth police have been busy overnight. Police are currently on the scene of the fatal officer involved shooting of a man who opened fire during a chase and subsequently crash into a tree.

Police were alerted to the man by a Florida police agency who said that they were contacted by the family of a man who was threatening suicide on Facebook Live. The man was tracked to I-35 and Berry. He took off when police approached and began shooting hitting the windshield of a police cruiser several times.
No officers were injured.
Earlier this morning police responded to a home in the 8500 block of Cove Meadow where a man fatally shot an alleged prowler outside. The suspect was critically injured. No one else was hurt.
