Arlington, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – The City OF Arlington is handing out free sand bags to homeowners and businesses today to help deal with flooding.
Richard Carmichael is with the city and says they’ll be at the north operations center at 801 West Main Street until 5:00.
“We give 25 to homeowners … you know you have to live in the City of Arlington, and we’ll give 50 to businesses.”
Arlington residents who want some free sandbags to help deal with the flooding can come here (801 W Main St) this morning take up up to 25. Those who come have to show proof that they live in Arlington.
The city says it handed out two thousand bags of sand yesterday.
