FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF) — Business owners near historic Bluebonnet Circle in Ft Worth say they’re fed up with construction delays.
The city is putting in new water and sewer lines.
The work was supposed to be finished this summer, but that won’t happen.
Business owners in the area, like Kate Daniel, says the work isn’t being done consistently.
“They will work. They’ll tear some stuff up for a couple of days,” she says. “And then we’ve had two weeks of nobody out here working at all.”
The city says they expect to wrap up the project in the fall, weather permitting.
They say recent rains put crews behind schedule, and that they’d like to wait until after the Colonial golf tournament to finish paving.
