Arlington, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – Arlington Police released body-camera footage from the fatal shooting of a man who drove away while an officer held onto the vehicle.
During traffic stop last Saturday, an officer is heard talking to a driver from the passenger side of an SUV when the driver started rolling the window up.
the offer then sticks his arm inside the window, which opens again as the suv takes off, the officer holds on.
The officer fired his weapon striking the driver. the passenger was not hurt.
An attorney for the deceased man’s family is quoted by KDFW as saying, “The officer clearly was not dragged. He was holding on.”
