Arlington Police and Arlington ISD team up to Train Students for Active Shooter Situations

ARLINGTON (WBAP/KLIF) – Arlington ISD and The Arlington Police Department teamed up for training for active shooter situations. Arlington Police went to Dan Dipert Career and Technical Center and showed the students simulator technology which has the ability to engage students in real life situations. Arlington ISD Superintendent Dr. Marcelo Cavazos said this reality based training helps current officers and future officers. The simulator technology provides hands on experience with 600 scenarios on a high definition screen.
