Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – A large 18-wheeler carrying dozens of small cows crashed early this morning, leaving several of the cows dead.
An official with Lonestar Hazmat says 23 cows died in the crash; the rest were taken off the truck and taken away from the scene.
The truck was on its way to the panhandle for the cows to be fed.
The ramp to 635 northbound from I-30 west is completely shut down, so you’ll need to take an alternate route until the road is clear.
Spoke with a Lonestar Hazmat official on the scene of a tipped cattle truck at 635 and 30…says around 20 or so small cows died in the accident, and rest have been transported already. In process of hooking truck up to get it upright again. More on @WBAP247NEWS & @570KLIF pic.twitter.com/VFvH5102gv
