(Dallas – WBAP/KLIF) – The list of free services the Dallas SPCA offers residents of 23 Dallas area zip codes is lengthy, and even transportation of your pet to and from the clinic for the free services is available if you can’t find a way to get Fido there yourself.
Free spay and neutering, immunizations, microchipping are all completely free if you live in one of the Dallas area zip codes listed on their website.
SPCA’s Maura Davies says the SPCA offers area residents these services because there are few veterinary options for care in these areas, and keeping pets happy and healthy will reduce the urge to roam – and bite.
This afternoons’ event will be held in the parking lot of the Third Avenue Missionary Baptist Church, 2408 Elsie Faye Heggins Road.
Davies reminds DFW residents even if you don’t live in one of the 23 zip code areas qualifying for free pet services, the SPCA still offers the same quality products to others at prices discounted from most area vets.
Spaying and neutering has been shown to reduce the urge to roam, and cut down on dog bites.
