DALLAS – (WBAP/KLIF) Not only can residents who live in 23 Dallas zip codes get just about anything their pet will need at no charge through the SPCA of Texas, the group is hosting a party next Sunday, August 5th at 5 pm to detail the wide array of services it offers for free.
Want to curb your pet’s desire to roam the neighborhood and spend less time looking for him? So does the SPCA, offering free spay and neuter services to lessen your pet’s urge to wander, be less aggressive and reduce dog bites, and trim unwanted puppy and kitten numbers.
SPCA of Texas offers free immunizations/shots, free micro-chipping to ensure Fido gets back to you promptly, and advice on how to care for your pet as well. Spokeswoman Maura Davies residents who live in the 23 zip codes most affected by pet care issues in Dallas have only to call and make an appointment. Tell the folks who answer the phone which applicable zip code you live in – you don’t even have to show them proof of residence.

The SPCA party will be held Sunday August 5th, 5 pm, at 2408 Elsie Faye Heggins Road; location of the Third Avenue Missionary Baptist Church. If you can’t make the party, the SPCA says you can still make an appointment to get your Fido the help he needs for free…by calling 214-742-SPCA (7722)
