Woman Arrested in Deadly Grand Prairie Hit & Run

GRAND PRAIRIE (WBAP/KLIF) – The suspect of a deadly hit and run in Grand Prairie has been identified but police have yet to find her. 38-year-old Kallie Wright is accused of being behind the wheel of a car that hit a 42-year-old bicyclist early Sunday morning.

Grand Prairie Police Sergeant Eric Hansen says a warrant is currently out for her arrest.

“We got a tip that the vehicle that we might be interested in was located on a street in Fort Worth,” said Sgt. Hansen. “We seized that vehicle. That led us to the person we’ve identified as the driver, Kallie Wright.”

Hansen says the passenger of the car has also been identified but no charges plan to be filed against her.

Acting on tips, police were able to locate the suspect.
