Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Atmos and Oncor are working to repair gas and power lines after a truck crashed into a house overnight in Pleasant Grove.
According to WFAA-TV, police say speed was likely the contributing factor in the crash.
A woman inside the house recounted to reporters that she heard a loud boom, and then some rustling inside her living room where the front of the truck came to a rest. She says she saw driver and two others getting out of the truck and running away.
Two other homes had to be evacuated because of leaking gas and sparks coming from the downed wires.
Police say the area is a known spot for dangerous street racing.
Atmos and Oncor are on the scene.
Dallas Police are looking for the suspects.
