DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – The Plano Police Department is not talking about its next step in the case of Christina Morris, whose remains were found this week in Anna more than three years after she disappeared.
Morris was last seen leaving the Shops at Legacy in Plano on August 30th, 2014 with Enrique Arochi, an acquaintance who is currently serving a life sentence for her kidnapping.

Criminal defense attorney Tim Powers said it’s possible Arochi could now face a murder charge.
“He would arguably be out when he is about 50-something years old. So, what they would be looking to do is get another life sentence,” he said.
Powers said he thinks prosecutors are already in possession of strong evidence that could lead to a conviction.
“Cell phone records place him in Anna or that general area in that period of time shortly after her disappearance,” he said.
Police said they’ll release more information on the case as it moves forward.
