Silver Alert Case May be Linked to Car Seen Floating Down Trinity River

Dallas/Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – Dallas Fire Rescue is trying to determine if a car reported to have gone into the swollen Trinity River last week may be connected to a missing elderly man.

84-year-old James Booth left his home around 9 a.m. on for an appointment Feb. 21, during heavy rains and hasn’t been seen since or heard from since,

Police say he did not have a cell phone and his credit cards have not been used. His car, a newer model Toyota Corolla matches the description of the one seen floating down the Trinity.

His white Toyota Corolla has Texas plates: JHC2212.
