Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) Evangelist Billy Graham has died. A spokesman for the family says Grhaham passed away at his home in North Carolina.
The Rev. Billy Graham was counselor to presidents and the most widely heard Christian evangelist in history.
Graham reached more than 200 million through his appearances and millions more through his pioneering use of television and radio.
The man Rev. Graham called ‘pastor’ was Rev O.S. Hawkins. Rev. Hawkins, formerly of First Baptist Church/Dallas and later Fort Lauderdale fondly remembered his lunch outings with Reverend Graham during the WBAP Morning News, Hawkins said, “Rev. Graham’s favorite spot was Red Lobster.”
Hawkins also said, “Integrity was Rev. Graham’s greatest assets.”
