Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Heavy rains are consuming the morning commute, with freezing rain making a mess of things just west and north of DFW.
Meteorologist Brad Barton says, “Freezing temps north of Weatherford, Denton and Van Alstyne will mean some slick spots on bridges and overpasses. Otherwise, it’s just cold rain for now. Mid-morning could bring a new chance of freezing precip closer to DFW but probably won’t know until it happens.”

Weather has forced some school delays with Alvord ISD, Bowie ISD, Muenster ISD and Saint Jo ISD will start classes at 10 a.m. Buses in these districts will run two hours late. Lindsay and Montague ISD also announced a 10 a.m start time. Check with our media partner WFAA-TV for a complete list.
