Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – A woman is dead after being hit by an 18-wheeler early this morning.
The Dallas Police are still investigating exactly what happened, but witnesses say the woman stumbled and fell off the Skillman bridge over 635 WB.
Our Scott Sidway reported from the scene that witness accounts of the incident are plausible since the guard railing on the bridge is not very high.
Dallas Police seem to have solved the dilemma involving the Skillman bridge and their flares being in the wrong spot. Cars were originally driving up to flares then u-turning. Now there’s so many on bridge that officers just moving flares for them to pass. pic.twitter.com/LUwd7zn3Lx

635 WB is totally shut down near Skillman Street, where a woman fell from the bridge (Skillman) onto the freeway and was hit by an 18 wheeler. More on @WBAP247NEWS & @570KLIF pic.twitter.com/0i3Uv0xve6

…and now the Skillman Bridge is closed completely, with a lone squad car trying to keep cars off the bridge. Officer just yelled “IT’S SHUT DOWN! GO THAT WAY” to a confused driver. #mess pic.twitter.com/VZe0j20tJN
