
Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – A North Oak Cliff woman died, along with a number of pet dogs in a duplex fire early today.
Dallas fire crews are still on the scene where the one-alarm blazed gutted the home in Kessler Park.
Firefighters pulled sevearal dead dogs out of the home. One man in the adjoining unit escaped.
The fire at the duplex off North Oak Cliff Boulevard erupted around 4:00 this morning.
Crews pulled out seven dogs once they contained it, then found the woman’s body some time later after clearing the house of debris.
A man was also living at the house, but he made it out safely.
No word on what caused the fire.
