DALLAS (KLIF/WBAP) — Facebook says it’s trying to “clean up” your news feed.
Company founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced they’ll soon be asking users to weigh in on which news sources to trust. He didn’t give much detail on how Facebook plans to do it, just that you may soon see a survey in your feed asking if the source is “trustworthy.”
It’s all a part of the social network’s effort to “clean up” Facebook, and to cut down on sensationalized so-called “fake news.”
Zuckerberg says the company briefly toyed with the idea of determining which sources were trustworthy, but ultimately decided they could not be objective.
But we wondered: can anyone?
