Guilty Verdict Reached in Murder of Dallas Teen

DALLAS(WBAP/KLIF)- Guilty is the verdict for the man accused of murdering an 18-year-old Dallas teen.

36-year-old Antonio Cochran was found guilty on a charge of murder in court Saturday in the slaying of Zoe Hastings, who disappeared in October of 2015 after she went to return a video and go to church in the Lake Highlands area.

Media partner WFAA-TV is reporting that the Hastings family did not want to talk to the media, upset that the jury did not reach a capitol murder verdict, which would have guaranteed a life sentence for Cochran.

The sentencing hearing for Cochran begins on Monday at 9 a.m.
