HIGHLAND PARK (WBAP/KLIF) — Highland Park has adopted a new ordinance to deal with bike share companies.
Late last week, the town council passed a measure that says all bikes must be picked up by the company by nightfall each night.
If companies fail to dovso, the bIkes will Be impounded.
Compamiesv then have 15 days to pay the impound fees, or the city will auction the bikes off to the highest bidder.
The new ordinance takes effect next week.
