Dallas Love Field officials say a short evacuation at the airport this morning resulted from smoke generated by an over-heated component in an AC unit.
Firefighters had the issue resolved in less than 20 minutes before travelers were let back into the airport.
The brief disruption had caused massive delays flight delays.

Dallas, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – Dallas Love Field has resumed all normal operation after a fire alarm triggered an evacuation earlier this morning.
After an inspection, Dallas Fire Rescue gave an ‘all-clear.’
Airport officals urged travelers to be patient as they repopulated the airport. All of those evacuated had to go through the security check point again.
