Dallas, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – Police say an early morning scuffle led to a triple shooting at a NW Dallas gas station.
Officers responded to the shooting around 4:40 Thursday morning.
When they arrived at the Mobile gas station near Love Field, a man, woman and her 9-year-old son had been shot in their pickup.
Investigators said the situation started after two suspects approached a woman in a pickup truck after the man she was with went inside to pay for gas.
When the man came out, he asked them to leave the woman alone and that’s when police said the suspects opened fire.
The boy was shot in the leg, and along with the mother, is expected to be ok.
The man is at the hospital in critical condition.
Police are looking for two suspects who drove off in a tan colored Camry that has a missing hubcap and damage to the fender.
The crime tape has been removed and Mobil has reopened. There’s still plenty of busted out glass where the truck was, though. pic.twitter.com/HJFRmzZTAf
