CORPUS CHRISTI (WBAP/KLIF News) – Whataburger has answered one if its fans Christmas wishes with its unveiling of its very own YETI tumbler.The move is in response to the positive feedback the company got when it released stainless steel mugs that looked like Whataburger drink cups last October.
The stainless-steel, double-walled and vacuum insulated 30-ounce YETI Ramblers is designed to keep cold drinks cold and hot drinks hot for as long as possible.
Vice President of Retail Mike Sobel said social media played a large part in the company’s decision to partner with YETI.
“When we launched our stainless-steel tumblers last year, we saw fans snapping photos of themselves with their tumblers all over the world. We’re excited to share these new YETI tumblers so our fans can travel with both their favorite high-quality brands. We can’t wait to see where our fans will go next, but we’ll always have a hot meal and a cold drink waiting for them here in Whataburger country,” he said.
YETI CEO Matt Reintjes said the partnership was destined to happen.
“Remaining true to our roots is important to the team here at YETI. As a Texas-based, we are excited to partner with Whataburger, which has such a long-standing legacy and loyal following here in our state,” he said.
