(WBAP/KLIF) According to Richardson police, during the search for missing 3-year-old Sherin Matthews, a small child’s body was found on Sunday morning. Sherin Mathews disappeared on October 8th, very early in the morning. This was after her adoptive father Wesley Mathews reportedly put her outside of their home as punishment for not drinking her milk.
The body was found around 11 a.m. during a search operation in the Spring Valley and Bowser Road area, in a culvert underground. The body has not yet been identified. The medical examiner’s office is working to confirm the identity and the area around Spring Valley and Bowser is now a crime scene. Authorities say that the area will be blocked off for some time.
