DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – The Dallas Police Department has suspended its investigation into a fight at an Uptown bar that allegedly involved Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott.
The department said investigators made numerous attempts to contact the victim through various ways but have not been able to make contact.
The incident occurred at the Clutch Bar off Cedar Springs Road just before 10 p.m. on Sunday. Investigators said a 30-year-old man went to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries after being assaulted.
At the time, witnesses reportedly claimed that Elliott was allegedly involved in the brawl.
Police said to date, no witnesses have come forward to provide any additional information about the incident.
Elliott is already under the microscope with the NFL because of a 2016 domestic violence accusation, although the charges were formally dropped.
