An alleged business dispute between two elderly men left one jailed and the other in a local hospital.
75-year-old Arthur James Jr. of Coppell allegedly shot a 62 year-old man he met about business near McInnish Dog Park on Sandy Lake Road in Carrollton.
“He had made arrangements to meet with someone he was involved with business wise and obviously something went terribly wrong,” Officer Jolene DeVito said.
DeVito says Arnold is charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and the other man is expected to recover.
Witnesses at the dog park assisted Carrollton Police in the investigation.
