Arlington, Tx (WBAP/KLIF News) – Arlington police confirm a baby injured during an early morning wreck on hwy 360 has died.
Investigators say a Honda Accord that stalled in a southbound lane near Pioneer Parkway was struck by a pickup. Officers arrived to find a woman outside of the car and a nine-month old infant inside a car seat in the back seat. The infant died a short time later at a local hospital. The woman is still hospitalized, her condition unknown. Officers say the driver of the pickup that struck the stalled car was not injured and is cooperating with investigators.
This southbound section of SH 360 was closed for a brief period this morning but has since re-opened.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the identification of the infant once next of kin has been notified.
