DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) — The Dallas-Plano-Irving metropolitan area has topped the list of Best Cities for Jobs according to Forbes. The area beat out tech-driven San Francisco along with burgeoning cities like Nashville and Charlotte.
The Dallas economy was noted for its multiple strengths including, insurance, financial services, life sciences, aerospace and defense, data processing and transportation.
DFW employment has gone up more than 20 percent over the past five year. Klaus Demet and Collin Clark are at Southern Methodist University and said that the success stems form the fact that the area appeals to both middle-class workers along with the companies who employ them.
