HOUSTON (WBAP/KLIF) – Former President George H. W. Bush is hospitalized, yet again, at a hospital in Houston.
Bush spokesman Jim McGrath made the announcement that he is on the path to recovery and going home.
Bush is being cared for at Methodist Hospital in Houston where he was recently treated for pneumonia.
Bush was discharged from the hospital and was able to participate in the coin toss at Super Bowl 51 in Houston days later.
A statement from Bush’s office said he is being held for observation after being treated for a persistent cough that turned out to be a mild case of pneumonia. He is being held for further observation while he regains his strength.
