The Texas Supreme Court has denied a request from “Affluenza Teen” Ethan Couch to have his two year jail sentence invalidated.

Couch killed four people during a drunk driving crash in 2013. During the trial a psychologist testified couch suffered from Affluenza and didn’t realize what he did was wrong. A judge sentenced him to probation.

Couch and his mother escaped to Mexico after he violated his probation. Criminal Court Judge Wayne Salvant imposed the two-year jail term, six months on each count, as part of his adult probation.
