DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Over 100 emergency managers and law enforcement brushed up on training on how to best handle a mass casualty event in Dallas Fort Worth.
Both Dallas and Tarrant Counties partnered for the training.
Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins says it involved several agencies.
“FEMA and some of our federal partners and DPS, the Texas Department of Emergency Management, the Texas Department of State Health Services and our local partners, police and fire and others,” said Jenkins.
They were also briefed from an Emergency Preparedness Manager in Orlando on how that city responded to the nightclub shooting last year.
