ROCKWALL (WBAP/KLIF) – The American Red Cross has set up a command center in the Dalton Ranch neighborhood of Rockwall where heavy rains and wind caused damage to approximately 20 homes.
The agency’s Krystal Smith said two teams of volunteers are canvassing the area.
“Case workers are here to start soon going with each of the families to see what their needs are,” Smith said.
Smith said they are also providing food and water to first responders and affected residents.
She says the command center will stay in place as long as they are needed.
