DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Before the next round of severe weather, Parkland Hospital is calling on everyone to be prepared.
Chris Noah is the Director of Disaster Management at Parkland. He says families and individuals should plan out actions prior to a storm or other disaster.
“If you know a tornado is coming to your area, you should have thought about what protective actions you should take,” Noah said. “If you try to make the decision at the last minute, it’s likely going to be wrong and based on fear or emotion.”
Parkland offers classes to the public to train people to help others before emergency help arrives.
More information about the “Stop the Bleed” classes is available at www.parklandhospital.com.
